Biography

Dr. Dima Kreidieh is an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Beirut Arab University (BAU) and a Clinical Supervisor in the “BAU Clinic for Nutritional and Weight Management”. She earned her BSc in Dietetics and Nutrition in 2005, her M.Sc. in Human Nutrition in 2008, and her PhD in Biochemistry in 2021.

Currently, she is considered a national expert in the treatment of obesity with lifestyle modification based on the cognitive behavioral therapy for obesity (CBT-OB). In fact, in the last few years with a group of colleagues from the department of Nutrition and Dietetics, she was actively involved in the implementation of the CBT-OB for the first time in Lebanon.

Author of several papers in the field of obesity published in international peer-review journals and she was elected as a chairman of the financial committee in the first committee of Order of dietitians in Lebanon (LOD).
